Debbie Weinberg

I was born and raised in Toronto, but spend extended periods of time in the country where nature is my great inspiration.

 

Painting for me is a spiritual and visual journey of discovery.  It is an adventure in colour, texture, mood and light.  I want to capture what moves me and share it with people who view my work.  Making those connections is a strong motivation for me.

 

Building the personality and soul of my work is achieved through many layers of acrylic paint and mixed media.

 

The wonderful magic and mystery occurs when a flat canvas is transformed into a emotional experience just by using colour.
